i have an s13 red top iin my s14 it seems like it runs like its supposed to when its cold just all the time when i start it up it will rev to about 2k and increase to 2500 if i shut it of and start it again it idles at 2k again i would like it to idle at least around 1000 also when i rev it it seems to come down pretty slowly any ideas what it could be?

Check for vacuum leaks, and then also check to to make sure you IACV is adjusted properly, and your TPS is showing the correct 'closed' value.
