so, 15 minute run groups... does that mean you just go around the track over and over without stopping after each lap? for 15 minutes straight??

correct!
think of it more as...style of driving changes every run group ___ mins grip, ___ mins drift, etc. and there's no stoppin' unless you need to stop for a cool down / tire change

Ahh we are working on it just hands are full with the comp. But yeah I live eat breath and sleep drifting. I am at the track every weekend it seems and I work on my car everyday at work it feels like. But someday it will be finished and running correctly and painted and what not and I can just drive. |

I'll be there, but my buddy and i were talking and wondering about liability...
If you nail a lotus on the track, accidentally of course, is there ANY liability or is it the "you're on a track, its a risk you take" thing?" Like i said, i've been to other events and will be at this one regardless, but just wondering. 2- SAN DIEGO GUYS- Any san diego guys getting a room or want to get a room and split it a few ways? My buddy and i are debating going up sat morning or friday... a cheap room would lead the the latter idea. any other cheap ass bastards driving far as hell? |

There is only passing on one part of the course, its not a race unless the lotus is in tandem drift with you no reason you should hit it. But yeah thats between you and the owner, there is no real liability but he might be pretty pissed. I almost hit r33 skyling, s13 and an evo. But they all did something stupid in front of me

So LEGALLY there is no liability? i'm sure there are SET RULES and LIABILITIES. Like i said, either way i'll be there. The last grip event at streets of willow had the same rules, but we still stayed bumper to bumper throught the turns and things could get hairy quick.
EDIT- IF ANYONE NEEDS A FENDER ROLLER, i have a brand new eastwood i will lend on track day for an extremely fair price. Just let me know if any of you guys want to use it so i can lug it up there... Last edited by gotta240; 03-02-2007 at 08:33 AM.. |

Yeah we still drive close but usually with people we know I try to give other people a little room unless I am way faster and want around. HTM is a lot slower speed track most of it is 2nd gear top of 3rd most. So its not to hairy. |
