Sr20det red top low compression

Hey guys yeah so I have a redtop sr20det with gtx2867r with 20psi stock engine with metal head gasket

Last drift session I had oil filling up the catch can within 10 mins of drifting and the dip stick poping out

Did a compression test 2 of the cylinders are 110 and 105 the other two were 160

Note : car running fine , idling , starting , full throttle seems fine.

I know it might be the rings what u guys think ?

And Wat could be the cause ? I ran the car really hot a couple of times
Maybe bad tune ? af is 10.8 on wot
Or simply old engine and it's bound to happen

Thanks guys

Old engine and bound to happen. One blip of going lean and it's gonna melt down. It'll probably feel good, but the only way to push oil like that is to pressurize the crank somehow....

Time for rebuild

Good idea, or he could just machine the block and head.
Get new bottom end parts, and be done...
might be around $2k in parts, and machine work

whereas LS engines in the 5.3L (ahem, 380-420rwhp platforms) are $800-$1200 each, already assembled by an OEM manufacturer, and have proven mileage i.e. 80k or 120k to prove they are running for hundreds of thousands of miles already, don't need a turbo for those numbers (no fancy plumbing, no expensive coatings/wraps) and you can have three of them for the price of one shady built sr20 (which still needs a turbo to perform). And furthermore, they would be very, very happy if you did happen to turbo them, which is to say that I am fully pro-turbo, I was simply pointing out that, unlike the sr20det engine, the LS does not need a turbo to be a fun engine.

I already know that. LS engines don't need turbo to go fast in an S-chassis.
Show me where I can buy and LS1 for 1k, with T56 trans, Ecu, harness, etc.
I will buy it right now!
