Gas gauge not working help plz

I change my fuel pump but the gas gauge doesn't work anymore,someone please help

the floater.

Same thing is wrong on my S13, it shows at 1/4 tank all the time.

My buddies s13 had same issue..we pulled the pump and followed the float up to that lil resistor...cleaned the thin layer of filmy gunk off wirh some alcohol and a swab n bam worked like new ever since try that first

Check the connections by the fuel pump cover in the trunk.clean and lightly scratch the terminals.over ti mm e they have a thin layer of bronze looking burns to them. Do that n reconnect worked for me
