rb20 getting boost and bov

so i swapped a rb25 onto my rb20 and since then its actually gotten slower. shaft play wasnt bad and not blowing any smoke or anything. the first thing was i had the wastegate tapped to the wrong spot going to the intake j pipe. since the rb25 turbo doesnt have that nipple on the compressor housing. So i wasnt making any power and car was just bfing all the time and dying when going to idle.

Later i had my hotpipe tapped with a nipple so that i can to get vacuum for the wastegate, and that made it run alot better definitely moving faster but still waay slower than it should be. holds a little better when going to idle sometimes and dont think its backfiring as much as before. but it still does die sometimes and ill floor it and ill get up to .5 bar and then its like it hit a wall or something, feels like the turbo is spooling but like all the pressure is going else where.

any help?
