I talked to my insurance adjuster and began contesting the part where I got blamed for pushing the lady I hit into another vehicle. The estimate on my car was only $572.49 ($0.00 for body parts, $160.00 for body labor, $236.80 for paint labor, $162.80 for paint supplies, and + tax). My adjuster said there is no way possible that I was going fast enough to hit her hard enough to damage another truck. Her (the lady I hit that hit the lady in front of her) insurance adjuster came out and looked at my car today (after taking a statement from me over the phone yesterday), and is now wondering how I could have pushed her to hit the lady in front of her and is going to take more statements from the others. After I told her what my estimate was and that 80% of the cost is going to be trying to blend my red paint, she asked me to fax a copy to her, and we will go from there. She couldn't believe that her insured customer is trying to blame the entire 3-car pileup on me. She told me "I don't see how all of this was your fault. I am definitely going to have to investigate this further and get back with you." WOOHOO!!!!!!
