Sadly arnd 60$ wen all was said and done. That's including sand paper and all 3 types of paint. However, it cuda been significantly less if I didn't have such bad luck with shit getting fucked up. + me trying stupid shit. Probably just coulda spent 40ish if I never fucked anything up/if stuff didnrt get fucked up.
I bougt the best rattle can they had tho. Ie. The clear coat I used was the wheel paint clear coat |

I just redid two of my G35 wheels and they came out surprisingly nice. Cost about 10 bucks for a can of engine enamel (they didn't have the rim paint in the color I wanted) and for a ton of sandpaper. I gotta clear coat them still though.

i actually recommend not clear coating it. it makes it more solid, and makes it easier to chip. plug if it does chip or what not, its much easier to touch up just paint, rather than paint+clear coat.
esp since u didnt primer it |

I bought 6 wheels, and the 2 I painted green had a bunch of curb rash and the paint was in shitty condition. The other 4 wheels are pretty much brand new so I'm leaving them the factory metallic silver color.

oh sorry for the late response, is there a way to make zilvia tell me anytime someone quotes me?
anyway i did it by laying down the black.. and then i took the red, and bareley pushed down the nozzle on the red about 2 feet above it, it makes it kind of bubble and slowley buch and pop out of the nozzle makeing this effect.. i did it in black and silver on my valve cover first, thats where i kind of came up with the idea its super easy and dosent require extra tips.. just gotta be careful and watch the build up if you dont want big drops.. and you will get paint all over the can and your finger.. with the silver, i diddnt so much let it build up by only partially pushing the tip, on the solver i just sprayed it about 3 feet aboue it and let it float down onto the vc.. try it out! i wanted to do a black base, and red, green and yellow drips... lol |

Did my 86 with rattle cans both times. We redid the black over the fender wells and what not right before I sold it to a friend. No pics of that. The rest of the car didn't come out too terrible.
Most weren't a fan of the pink, so I had to redo it to try and sell it. And here's my rx2, the paint was faded very bad and nearly gone in some spots. Just did this to touch it up a little, didn't do any body work to it. And for those that may complain about using rattle cans for painting an entire car, if you have hardly any money tied up in them and don't have plans for building a show car, why not?

Bought some cheapie sportmax wheels a while back to throw on my g20. They were a bright highlighter green, sanded em down and painted em a smoked gray color.
Sold the G20 and kept the wheels. Didnt like em in that gray anymore so i decided to paint em white. and this is what they currently look like on my recently purchased 240

This is the second attempt. The driver side didn't turn out how I wanted so I have to redo is. Also, need to redo the black. The paint stream was too thin to get it to cover evenly so I'm going to go with the same stuff I used for the satin green. Once I get that cleaned up, a heavy dose of gloss clear.
