Car looks lame. You should get rid of the Volks for XXR's and and PBM stuff for Godspeed. Then yout car would be proper.
JK! I think the followers will like the new updates coming. Keep it up Max |

Haha thanks guys, and thanks eric yeah I think they'll like this brief but GREAT update
okay so around the time I put my car down to "fix my issues" I bought a sr off a buddy of mine, which I had planned building up. I opened up the block and saw that the bottom end was trash, so I did just that and trashed the bottom end. The head though had all kinds of good stuff so I kept it. Found a fresh block bored over .20, got some wiesco pistons and a fresh crankshaft. So I was set on building the engine. I had been gathering all of the missing ends to complete it but as time draws nearer to my "due" date, I won't be able to go ahead with that set plan. Instead I did something to help me finish alot faster.. Yes I bought a running sr with slight mods: Tomei Pon Cams 256/256 , Apexi 1:1 Hg, Greddy oilpan, and a Tomei N1 Oil Block. Not much but as you can see I already bolted on most of my stuff. As a result of this I have some stuff forsale! http://zilvia.net/f/sale-items/50355...-sr-cheap.html You can see I also have a s13.4 vc I had painted it wrinkle black then sprayed red over it but didn't turn out how I planned so Polished for now is what I'm going with. So whats all thats left to finish this build you ask? ALOT, but what is left to get this running and semi done? Just have to go pick up my Power FC, Z32 trans, and Clutch that I've had on hold for a bit. Then just paint it. I'll be using a welded diff due to time constraints, but like i said this is only to get it semi done for the event. I should be done by the end of march so I'll be keeping my fingers crossed! |

Thanks guys!
So today I pulled my lcas off the car and worked on them some more. As you can see there was already material missing from them. I used that to make the notch then cut out the fill in pieces from some sheet metal and also cut out the boxing in pieces hopefully this week I can get everything welded up so I can start the pre alignment to ease it up for the tech. I also decided to go ahead and install the lines for my heater core on the sr, Previous owner had deleted his heater core, I will be using it. Cut this off Add these and you get this after I was done with that I pushed the car out and rinsed it down, it was getting really dusty. Also sweeped the garage. |

I wish I could weld that nice but with the lack of proper tools and technique I can't my buddy Juan Vargas over at BARDABE PERFORMANCE is doing most of the viewable welding. anything that can't really be seen I'm attempting haha.

Haven't done much but a bigger update will be coming soon.
Test fitted the rear 50mm overs to see what kind of gap I would be dealing with and it wasn't as bad as I thought. I think I'm going to be using bolts to mount as the holes I had drilled aren't that far off and will be annoying using rivets due to the holes having to be slightly enlarged. You can also see the shitty driverside fitment (I'm not sure as why its not the same as the passenger side but its annoying trying to fix) In this last picture you can see the piece they cut off when the overs were bowed out by the previous owner of them. I also wrinkled my Valve cover and will finally be sealing the motor for good. That's about it.

Thanks guys, I'm happy with the valve covers outcome looks great.
So this week has been pretty great. I picked up my ORC Super Single Clutch, and My z32 Trans, along with a welded diff and Greddy/Trust turbo elbow. I'd like to go ahead and thank Chris "Flybert" for being such a cool dude and hooking me up with awesome deals THANKS! So I didn't have anybody helping so I didn't get many pictures but here they are; ORC Super Single Adapter Plate Z32 Mated I was scared thinking my dump tube was gonna be hitting the trans but nope it cleared no problem. So as I mentioned I went with a welded diff to fund constraints I'll be saving and buying a Cusco 1.5way after it's painted and running correctly. And the aftermath Huge mess but thats about it for today, was hoping to have more pictures for you guys but I was doing this alone and didn't have the clean hands to shoot.
