Rebuilding or updating your engine? The Mazworx Freeze and Oil Port Plug Kit replaces all of the misc plugs on your SR engine, this is a standard procedure on any block that we build and ensure no leaks or stripped plugs on your new block.

are the valve cover washers designed to work with the OEM rubber inserts or are those rubber pieces not required with the Mazworx setup?

Sorry for the late reply, we've been closed due to the hurricane. This kit does not use the factory rubber washers. It's a 1 piece washer designed to be as simple as possible due to the frustration associated with the factory washers that split apart.
