... You will probably run into the same problem. Search for manifold and you will see quite a few topics on various manifolds. IN the end you get what you pay for.

yeaup. wholeheartedly agreed. with that being said, i run the megan racing, simply because i don't mind spending 150 every 6 months on a new manifold. i can't justify dropping 900 on a full-race in one shot, so... *shrugs* |

if you don't wanna drop 900 on a full race why not try dropping 310 on a helix from TougeFactory.com ?
310 dollars and it comes with the flange cut and extra bracing welded on, which both add to the life of a manifold... and the other product lines they carry speak of the quality of the shop. |

obviously your budget minded attitude is similar to this guy http://www.zilvia.net/f/showthread.php?t=79844 as I said in that thread "longevity, quality, cheap" pick 3. Altho S14DB did hit it on the head about getting the manis cerami-coated and aleviating cracking problems. Also in that thread. Hypertek posted about getting a DP that was powder-coated, powder-coating doesn't do shit but make it look nice. cerami-coated is what should be done to these cheap pieces, hell all manis should have this service done.

whose running a short shifter?? I never want first-hand experience in ebay shit failing on me. obviously some want extra liability with ebay products. BTW most short shifters destroy trannies because the throw is too fast for the synchros to slow down. It takes time but it happens. Okay Mr. ebay rocker arm stopper. hks type s intercooler, greddy boost controller, s-afc, big brakes. and you go cheap on your motor Don't worry I'll have AAA on speed dial. muah haha
