sr tps and throttle body q?

ok once again more questions about my buddys sr swap. I have searched and found no answer. his tps on his motor is a 6 pin which i have been told is the auto sr tps. his engine harness is for a 3 pin. so we figured since he needs to find another tps why not jump to a larger throttle body. what needs to be done to install a q45 throttle body?

Also i have heard he can use a ka throttle body and tps. is this true?

if you wanna use a q45 tb your gonna need to cut your old flange off and weld on a q45 flange. wiring is easy for it will only be three wires, power, ground, and signal. there are a couple write ups on freshalloy and maybe here just do a search
