Well It has been a little while since my last update, nothing really has changed I have just been parts searching for 5spd parts and a Kouki Wing and trunk. Since I have put the exhaust on I really wanted to do the 5spd swap asap but sourcing a S14 trans has been a pain, I finally found one and made a down payment on it tonight. Now I need to start finding the other parts needed to complete the swap(if any one viewing this thread have s14 5spd parts hit me up). I have a complete Kouki conversion now minus the Wing and trunk but just waiting for a container to come in from my local importer. Now I just need to find primer and paint from my local auto-body supply store and get to prepping and painting the parts. Then the 5spd will follow.
I figured I would just repost some of the older pictures right after a did a mini detail on the car as today I did another one and took some pictures. About a month after I got the car: Today 10-12-2013 (4months later): |

I got the z32 brakes from a member on here who's buddy was parting out his car so it came as a complete kit with everything minus brake pads and rotors for a great deal I could not pass up.

Well.... detailed the car yesterday as that is all I have really been having time to do. Here are the pictures of my interior and a few exterior shots. I am kind of in a limbo of what to do first, 5spd swap or kouki conversion. I have almost all the parts but a shifter, flywheel, clutch, MC, SC, and clutch line for the 5spd swap. As far as the kouki conversion all i need to do is spend the time to make sure everything fits then take it off and fix a few dings buy primer/paint/clear and paint it.
I am thinking the 5spd swap will get done before the body work, what do you guys think? Here are the pictures: and here is why I haven't been working on the car that much: I work for a radio controlled car company(Tekno RC) and we are racing like crazy because February 17-21 is one of the biggest races of the year and i need to be on my A game to do well. We are also super busy because we just released three new kits. |

Looks fuckin' fly.... I'm jumping on the "keep it zenki" bandwagon.
Have you learned to get off on the discomfort yet? ("my filling fell out, clear proof that I'm a handling god") |

Well I have almost everything here to do my 5spd swap just waiting on my clutch in the mail, I am just waiting to do it when i can get some help from a few friends that have done it in the past to speed up the process.
I also picked up a car to drive when my car is down, it's a 1997 Nissan Maxima with 86,624 miles and one owner with zero accidents. It is in great shape and got it for a steal of a price! I also got bored and put on my Kouki wing and trunk on with my wireless trunk release as well. sorry for the poor quality pictures my phone needs to be put on a different setting. |

Well,
I have been waiting to do my 5spd swap because I need to take a day off work to complete it and want to make sure it goes smoothly without any hiccups. Well yesterday I am in class and my Alarm notifies me that it has been triggered. Since I was in a parking structure I knew that some people like to rev their shit and set off alarms so I keep checking my GPS to see if the car is moving anywhere. It was not, so I disarmed the car and armed it again and all the sensors checked out so I came to the conclusion that some Dick had done just that. Well I was wrong..... As I got closer to my car I realized this had happened. As you can see It took a real dumb ass to hit my car like that as I was parked as far away from the other spot and almost touching my rear bumper against the wall. This picture is after I pulled it out so I could drive home.... Some Person had hit and ran my car.... I was pretty pissed. I filed a report with the campus PD and hope they got a video of it happening. I was going to wait to go Kouki until I was tired of the Zenki Front but I guess I will do it right after the 5spd swap as I hate driving around with a smashed fender. |

DUDE. That sucks! Some chick almost hit me just this week in the parking lot by Markstein. Typical Cal state drivers...
At least you have a kouki front to throw on. Still a dick move to hit and run though. |

Yea I would have been super pissed if it was my kouki font that got hit, but still not leaving contact info was definitely a dick move....if I find them I will press charges.

I spoke with the officer today, and the cameras are motion sensing and he said there was no footage of the accident but, it could have been the computer he was on as it jumped in time from about an hour after I parked my car to an hour after I had left. Also he said that sometimes the cameras work and sometimes they don't.
I will know more tomorrow I guess cause he said he was going to check again on a different computer. |

Well Yesterday I got the good news that my car was in a "Blind spot" and that there was no footage of my car getting hit.
So I got home on friday after work and got a hair up my ass to fix the dented fender. After taking the fender off I got the crazy Idea just to go Kouki and call it a day as the damage was to much to fix and would take to much time. So I pulled the font end off. You can see the damage from the previous owner. I then tucked my harness and made a shield so it would be out of the way and safe for the track (whenever that may be LOL) Then I pulled the front corner out that was from the previous owner accident. I know its not pretty but it is better than it was and everything fits pretty good and you don't see it anyways. Here is everything test fitted after hours of getting the fitment almost perfect. Still needed to drill the holes in the headlight brackets and wire up the lights And here is the finished product after hours of work to get it the way I wanted, don't mind my friend he needed to get outside as he was stuck in my room playing Titan fall all day while I wrenched. There is no bumper gap and the headlights fit like a glove. |

You can always drill out the spot welds and just replace the damaged portion of your core support if it bothers u... But looks like it all line up good
