i found aout about the lotec c1000 through a friend in germany. it was at the franfurt auto show about 10 or 12 years ago. its just sick. 0-60 in 3 sec. top speed 252mph. and styling that nobody else even comes close to. Just think, that car is 12 years old, and still looks like it 20 years ahead of its time. Its handmade by some guy in Germany. I think he makes about 2 per year at a cost of about $500000 to 900000 each

If I could have any car? hmmm.....definitely, one of the choices would be a R34 GT-R. If I were to go to the extreme, tho, it would be a Diablo or Ferrari F50. I'd probably still go for the R34. It would definitely fit me better than the latter 2 options.

I don't get this whole thing against domestics, there are some #### fine American designed cars on the road. I recall somebody here had a Corvette that he loved, and you've got to respect a well done Camaro
btw, my '90 Cheyenne 1500 is nearing 300k miles with nothing more expensive than an alternator replacement. |

There's a 71 Camaro and a 64 Chevelle in my garage, but neither are mine. And my other roomate is bringing his 87 Corvette down this weekend. So I am living with a few Chevy guys.

I don't understand the whole "American cars are crap" thing either. Granted, there are a few crappy American cars, but there's some crappy imports also. As far as American muscle, I would love to own a '70 Chevelle 454 SS...or maybe a '68 Camaro SS/RS.
But the car that I have always to vowed to own someday is a BMW M3. Maybe by the time I can afford one, they'll have even more power. Until then, however, my little 240 will do just fine. I intend to keep it as long as I possibly can...keep it maintained and have a nice classic one day. |

wow, that's an interesting though .. .
Classic 240sx Given how relatively uncommon they are, it's possible. |

i'll take a 60s dodge challenger, or a new viper. Still love that viper. Turns heads at every corner, fast as ####, doesn't handle that great (unless you get the acr or gtsr), but who cares, i'd be driving 20 in that thing so that everyone could see me...

Recently, Nissan restored a few of those and resold them for like $25K a piece. So, I guess it's pretty possible for the 240SX to become a collectible sports car. The main thing that distinguishes it from other cars...it is/was one of the only affordable RWD import sports cars available to the USDM. |
