***S13 full aluminum piping kits are now available for USD $485.
There is also a new design of the original s13 kit with rubber pipes. Pic is attatched bellow.*** New install pics on page 2. Hey guys I know there are a lot of you looking for intercooler kits for a good price so I managed to dig some up. KGCM2 Infinity Performance in Australia is offering intercooler kits for the following at the following prices: S13 = USD $450 S14/S15 = USD $470 Skyline = USD$460 WRX = USD $480 These intercoolers are bar and plate. High flow power handle supported up to 700hp Big inlet 76mm or 3" High efficiency big core with internal fins Low pressure drop 0.2psi at 15psi 80 psi tested Dimensions: Core Length : 24" (600mm) Core Height: 12" (300mm) Core Thickness: 3" (76mm) Inlet Size: 3" o/d (76mm) Outlet Size: 3" o/d (76mm) "End to End" Length: 32" (800mm) Heat Exchange: 72C - 24C Shipping will be around $35 to US and $89 to International including Canada and will take between a week to two weeks depending on the location. The only thing about the S13 piping is that it comes with plastic/rubber pipes from the intercooler (just like stock side mount pipes) but the coldpipe is aluminum. The rest of the kits are aluminum. Kits do not come with hotpipe, but those are easy to make/get. Couplers and clamps are included as well. The S13 full aluminum piping kits are sold out right now and probably wont be in stock for a month or so. But the plastic/rubber piping has been tested and they said there was no HP difference in the numbers they got between aluminum and plastic/rubber pipes. NOW FOR THE PICS!!! S13 kit S14/S15 kit Skyline kit WRX kit The pics are from their website. This is an open group buy, and will be open for 30 days. After that prices go back up. If you have any questions please PM me or email me at [email protected] <(fastest way to reach me) GOOD LUCK! Last edited by kings_blend; 05-30-2005 at 09:18 PM.. Reason: More pics added!!! |

Im in canada, but the kits are coming from Australia.
These are for sr, but if you think about it, the ka and sr both have the throttle body in the same area, so the cold pipe might work, and it dosnt come with a hotpipe so you can get one from HT or fab one up. The kit isnt very expensive so it could even be altered to work for the ka. |

Kgcm2 sells them for the exact same price on ebay, so where's the groupbuy deal?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33742 I can understand if that price is temporary just to get some positive feedback, but why buy this kit if there are other cheap alternatives for $30 more that include the hotpipe, all aluminum piping, silicone couplers, and t-bolt clamps? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33742 |

these kits are in stock.
I didnt know they sell them on ebay as well. But i do know that they just started selling in north america. Maybe its just a way to get noticed. The kit you found on ebay from the other seller is just a generic one. The kit KGCM2 Infinity Performance sells is an actual shop run in Australia. Who would you turst more with an intercooler kit? www.kgcm2.com is there website if you would like to review it for yourself. A lot of people are uncomfortable shopping on ebay. This way you dont have to. As soon as these kits start selling in north america the price will go up. |

I want to see the actual internal core design (the charge air flow path, fin design, header design, etc), the area inside the endtanks...you should be able to get a decent picture through the endtanks.
I'd also like to see a close up of the fin design in the ambient air path (face of the core). Thanks, if you want to email them to me it is [email protected] |

i would love to see the actual flow, psi drop and heat transfer numbers you guys see on this. i know who makes them and there are quite a few different numbers out there for it. for you guys running stock or close to it boost you will see heavy pressure drop. FOr the price though i guess you can't go wrong.
