So has anyone has any shipping issues with the holidays? i've had two issues this year so far, one item got stolen from the package and the box said damaged on it, and others taking FOREVER.

I don't know if it's just my local usps being a pain in the ass, or what, but this shouldn't ever happen and hasn't ever to me, I've had items take extra long but ever lost or stolen.

A card from my best friend never showed. And 1 of the 3 packages he sent at the same time never got here.

On top of that, 2 of those 3 packages got here 3 days apart from each other. Shit was all shipped out at the same time. WTF right

Yeah i def hear you on that one. I work for UPS and i havent heard anyting about UPS incorporating flat rate box's, hopefully they do.

usps wont hire extra help for the holidays like all the other carriers do, is my point. So when someone goes with usps and is told their package will be delivered in 3 days and shit goes missing for weeks, thats unacceptable!

USPS increases the hours and amount of work. So there isn't a need to higher more help.

And for USPS priority it is generally 2-3 business days.

FedEx and UPS is about 5-7 business days.

Why is your ass complaining about an extra day or two in receiving a package?

If you want it to arrive faster, pay more.

An increase in hours and work and promised delivery dates can not be met, sounds like someone is under staffed. Like i said priority that is promised in 2-3 days turns into 2 weeks or more, is not good business. I guess usps needs to change there suggested delivery days form 2-3 days to weeks. It is what it is, OP asked a question and I shared what knowledge I had on the matter.

Shit, all you guys bitching about shipping is funny. For us military folks, we have no other option but deal with USPS. You think shit takes forever? When you ship out $1600 set of rims and it takes them 3 months when it was shipped priority with insurance, come talk to me.

Usps is closing locations and ups and fedex are overloaded because of it. It took 3 weeks to ship my 180sx axles from wa to oh usps

Please quote where USPS says that they promise you the package will be delivered in 2-3 business days.

Comparing USPS to FedEX / UPS for regular ass stuff isn't all that fare, because the average Jane / Joe are more likely to send product out via their local post office, and not a third party shipping service.

You crying because you have to wait an extra day or two just makes you sound like the typical impatient ass american.

hypothetical situation: You(Zar) are ordering some parts from a business, and they decide to ship with usps. You are provided a tracking number and suggested delivery is 2-3 days. A week goes by and you check the usps site and input your tracking number, and there is no info on your package. Do you not worry about it, or will you be pro-active and make the proper phone calls? Do you like to spend money and not recieve what you paid for? Are you one of those fucking candy panse that will vote for obama again? Will you ever get a manly signature and avatar? Will you be my bestest friend forever an ever?

If the tracking number doesn't work that means:

- you were given the tracking number too soon. Check again after 24-48 hours for the company to actually drop off the package at USPS/FedEx/UPS/etc. and let it go through their system.

- you were given a wrong tracking number. Ask for it again. Maybe you/they mistyped/misheard/whatever. Doesn't hurt.

- you were given a fake tracking number altogether (if buying from a non-reputable source). You're screwed. Contact credit card company, PayPal, etc.

I know USPS tracking is the shittiest. They rarely update and it's not even that detailed if they do.
