97 240SX SE Manual

Just this morning I noticed when I let my E-brake down to leave for school this morning the light on the gauges that my e-brake is up does not turn off.  I tried to put the brake back on then off and hopefully that would make it go off but it didn't!  Anyone know what could be the problem?

I had the same problem forever, and I thought that it might just be something I would have to live with, some kind of electrical problem or something. The solution was so simple that it escaped me until later when I was topping off my fluids - once I topped off the break fluid, the light went off :-) Just something to try!
