Kodiak no longer makes lips. There are a few companies you can go through....look on the VW forums if you want some options. I used a guy on ebay though. The lips aren't cheap though, expect to spend over 1k on them.

Do a decent pull or 30mm overs and slip on spacers till flush, but you will need to do just as much work with the overs than with the pull. Soooooo yea.

1k+ isnt too bad, kodiak was asking 250 a lip plus shipping, from UK i think so shipping was bucks. I have spoke with few companies here in so cal area to see how much making custom 18 inch barrels and lips would run me. it all ends up being around 1500 or so. Thanks for the info, I may consider keeping them now.

my question to you is, how did you pull those front fenders? i've obviously rolled and pulled my rears and i've rolled my fronts, but i can't think of a legitimate way to pull the fronts. |

So then I planned on putting the two new 235s up front, then taking the 245s off and putting them on the rear rims....and hoping to take some camber out of the rear since i would be going slightly skinnier....well we messed up a tire when taking one off so I had to put the 2 new ones up front (which rub while the 245s didnt, makes no sense) and then flip the 2 rears because the inside is showing cords and I have no other tires to put on yet...except the 275s which I can't figure out how to fit. So now the front sidewall looks a tiny bit too big, although fills the gap pretty good, and I dont know what size I should buy for the rear. This is so tedious... |

^^ Maybe 5mm difference you were looking at if they were the same tire. Also the knew one had much more tread. Gotta do some math action. A 235/40 is so slightly smaller than a 245/35 its poop on the tip of a chingada.
