Hey guys....Im going to throw my new diff in this weekend. I know with most clutch type diffs, it seems the instructions for break in entail driving figure 8's for 30 min, coasting on the straights with light throttle through the curves then change fluid..... In the instructions for the diff I got it says drive 180 miles lightly and with speeds of 40mph or less....I pretty much HAVE to drive my car on the highway...Im wondering if I just do the figure 8's if it will be ok to use my car pretty normally after? Thoughts on what i need to do to break this thing in properly? I know its always best to follow directions, but I need to use my car as its my daily! Thanks!

its fine
a lot of the folks i talk w/ dont break it in
as long as u dont start doing burnouts and stuff or drifts your fine
i mean evening driving to the market is braeking it in. just drive aorund town. you make left and right turns you clutch in and out you accellerate in and out..its the same as the figure 8 directsions kaaz gives
i broek in my nismo for like 10 mins doing figure 8s and got bored and drove home. did a track event the following weekend. LSD still the best. i love it.

Thanks for the info....Also, Nismo only includes what looks like enough oil to fill the pumpkin up once, is there a point where you need to change the oil after break in or no? The instructions dont mention it really...

yah after break in
get some shit oil syn oil (valvoline is fine) put that in fist
braek it in
change to the nismo
or just use the nismo for braek in
and change to REdline after haha
