installing a kouki s14 front end to a s13 coupe
hey guys!!
I've been on here for a while but rarely post. I did a search and found some s13.4's which look intense what does a guy need to do the whole swap ? so far I have: kouki headlights kouki corner lights kouki turn signals headlight wiring harness s13.4 conversion fenders ( b-magic ) kouki hood kouki front bumper now my super big question is do I need the s14 core support ? I don't want a hackshow job like using a s15 front without the core support. thanks guys |

I haven't bought anything yet, I'm looking for a kouki 240 in a wreckers so I can take a sawsall and cut just in front of the strut towers to pretty much get most of what I need.
hoping that'll be around 6-700 bucks with the bumper ( hope the guy doesn't know what thyeyre worth ) then 5-700 for the hood, and 300 for the fenders if I can find a nice JDM fron bumper and lip I'll run that, but if not I'll prolly run the origin stylish kit. just for the basic swap though and getting it working I'm budgeting 1500-2000 dolla's. unless a deal comes up thanks for the quick reply's guys! really appricate it *passes beers out* |

ugh. the body lines of the 13.4 are so ugly. blah.
just like the sil-80. at least a hatch woulda been mildly decent for a s15 front end

what are you smoking, its perfect. the sharpness of the kouki matches the coupe. not the 14.

I did the swap out of necessity. There is no other easy way to get decent DOT-certified headlights without going the custom route. |

Zenki life: I thin you misread the original post mate, I have a coupe, not a hatch. and certian strawberry faced coupes hold the look quite well
g6civcx: out of nessicity ? The Dustin is confused, did you import a s14 ? and do you have a pic of your swap ? |

Kouki S14 lights are the next easiest ones to fit without much modding. |

Corner light and side marker are just like Silvia swaps. You ned to source an extra S13 (or any Nissan skinny socket for that matter) side marker socket and wire that in. Bumper lights plug in and need no mods. |

Anywhere you can order the glass style headlights for the s14 front end? i think they were euro only but very sexy

when I got pulled over in my old s13 (it was flat black and debadged) the female officer had no idea what kind of car it was. |

Oh your totally right. I mean it's not like we're breaking the law by running an exhaust without a catalytic converter, or a Japanese motor, or a ridiculously low suspension? yet we get away with it.
I just was curious why you'd even address the issue of them being illegal if nobody can even tell or give a damn. But looking at how you took the reply, I wish I would of never asked. |

Way to argue yourself into ANOTHER topic of conversation by talking about mods that AREN'T related. How do you know that any of the other stuff on his car is illegal? Oh wait, you don't. Speak for yourself, which it seems you're doing anyways. Silvia lights are RHD- ILLEGAL. Not to mention they suck at doing their job, (you know, putting light on the road. NOT just to look cool or JDM) Also, unless you change the projectors and get some better bulbs and harnesses to correct the pattern and output the lights are a mess and don't do ANYTHING AT ALL. Just shut up.

if you use the s13 radiator support, you need to cut some of it to fit the headlights, aside from that, all the conversion fits, you also need s14 hood hinges, use the extra middle hole and make another one for the 2nd hole to the hood. dont buy cheap fenders, such a nightmare... i'm going b magic now
