SR20 harness plug identification. Minimum wiring to make run.

I figure about now would be a good time to tear into the wiring on the Corolla. It's an s13 redtop sr20det in a 1985 Toyota Corolla. I've got the harness pulled from the engine, and known plugs are marked. I need help identifying the plugs I am confused about, and which plugs are necessary to make the engine run. I want to open up the harness to lengthen and shorten as necessary, but I would also like to eliminate all unused plugs from the harness to not only make initial wiring easier, but any troubleshooting in the future as well. I'm not running a/c or powersteering, CONSULT, and aftermarket gauges throughout.

1-???? (plugs in between 3 and 4 intake runner)
2-AAC Valve maybe??? (plugs in between 3 and 4 intake runner)
3-Wastegate Valve control solenoid? Needed?
4-EGR Sensor? Needed?
5-????
6-????
7-????
8-????
9-H20 temp sensor. (found on the side of the head next to the throttle body.) Is this needed?

What do you mean by this? Are you saying it's nessesary for the car to idle, or just a high idle on cold startup? I'm running a Central 20 tuned ecu.

Also, being in a Corolla, are the 6,7, and 8 engine check connectors going to help me at all with any troubleshooting, or should I just get rid of them?
