Weird Blinker Issue

Ok guys, i ran a search and couldnt find anyone that had the same problem, so hopefully someone here can help.

On my S14 if you switch the turn signal switch to either the left or right side it works perfectly fine for the front bumper turn signals, however, the side signals dont light up. the same is true for activation of the hazard switch, the fronts work but not the sides. i replaced the bulbs on both sides with several known good bulbs and they still wouldnt work. i checked every fuse inside the kick panel fuse block and they were all good.

are the front signals on a separate relay from the sides? and if so where is the relay for the side signals located?

What is "side signals"? The front corner lamps are parking only and are not supposed to blink with the signals from the factory.

my bad i tried to explain it the best i could. i know the difference between the parking lamps and the turn signals.

on the S14 there are turn signals on the side of the bumper. i suppose if i wansnt having a retard moment at the time i would have just said side markers.

shaped like these:

You didn't say what year but on my kouki the front side markers are for parking lights only, not turn signal.

The only bulb in the front for turn signal is the one in the bumper facing forward.

my bad it's a 95 Zenki. the front turn signals on the bumper work great but for some reason the side markers dont work at all.

in either situation there is a problem. if they were supposed to be lit constantly (which on the zenki i dont believe they are), they arent even doing that. im not getting any light output from them whatsoever, blinking nor constant.

They should be on with the parking lights. Pull the bulb and check the power wire. It should tee off of the corner lamp.
