i made a small donation, not much, but what i can afford
in light of the spirit of all this, i think a thank you post would be more fitting than cutting vinyl, making plaques, or notes. some of us lived vicariously through your albums upon albums of your cars' builds - i personally loved the evolution of your white coupe keep your chin up, and it'll work out good luck

you should just get a junk title...so you dont have to pay dmv fees. you should then just get it put in your driveway or somehting for now, that way you wouldnt have to have them dispose of it for you, and you should take it to a scrap yard, where they will PAY you for the scrap metal.

i don't have a choice about the rest...i mean i guess i could have told them to take it to my house but then that would be more towing fees and then i'd have to figure out who would take it for scrap metal...just too much hassle and headache with everything else i am going through... i mean if i had my own flatbed none of this would have been an issue...but alas, i possess nothing of the sort... so yeah, it was either pay them that money today and go back next week to settle up the rest or they would have sent it to collections and added $68 per day that i didn't pay to store my car..they pretty much held all the cards... |

Wow you still have to pay more? Better get some more help in here everyone! $15 has been sent now. You could use it more than I can! Hopefully you'll be able to pay the rest in a couple of days! Good luck with your next car too. Keep your head up and for everyone else out there that can spare a few dollars or so, do it! It's for a good cause. We have to help each other out. I know many of us have our own problems and what not but a dollar here or there couldn't hurt anyone! Check your couch, under your bed, in your car, ANYWHERE!! Let's make this happen.
And Nokeone... Don't worry about a thank you card for me. I help because I want to and am able to. As long as you need help I'll donate what I can. I haven't been on zilvia long but I've never seen everyone help out someone in such a way. This truly is an experience that I am honored to be a part of. In my job, I help people everyday because it's my job. I do try to help others outside of it, but just as Drift Freak said, we sometimes get caught up with ourselves and to a certain extent, we become a little greedy. Though I do not know you I believe him when he says that you would do the right thing with the donations (I met him when my friend bought a black s13 from him). I'm sure I could hold off on buying junk online or at any store so that I can keep sending donations your way since I know every little bit counts and you would not misuse them. Keep your head up and have faith my friend. You will see that miracles do happen! Though they may be small and discreet, they are the ones that make the biggest impact! Jose |

wow, thank you so much for the wonderful words...i really couldn't express it better...i am just proud and honored to be a part of this site...i never expected this...i think i wrote in the other thread that i am almost more in shock and awe over the amazingly generous response from people then i am about the car burning down... this has opened my eyes to such goodness in people i know that i will be changed forever... and yeah, the reason it is so much is cause where it caught fire was up in the mountains...so the tow company is saying i owe them for 3.5 hrs of time...at $165 an hour...it's a friggin joke...and they wouldn't accept my parent's AAA because they said it didn't qualify as road side assistance...it's all one big rip off... |

you have all seriously changed my outlook on life, this world, and who i will be as a person from now on...i will never know how to thank you... |
