Hawaii Drift Practice Pictures
Just a few pictures of the drift practice held in hawaii yesterday 2/8/03 for a bigger event next sunday. no 240s yesterday though. but there should be more than a few on the 16th. You'll notice it's mostly hachiroku and the drifting camaro was there. Plus one of our friends who is the craziest driver who is now driving a FWD AUTOMATIC(!) sentra. Check out his slide! It's one of the last pictures.

funny you should mention that. I'm working on a video right now, but i'm going to wait until after next sunday's event to release it because I want to include footage from it. it's going to be bad ass.

haha, yeah, I'm not there because I'm the guy behind the guy behind the guy. Since I'm not entering the competition next week sunday (taping instead), I wasn't allowed to run in the practice session. I'll be running in the march competition though, hopefully somebody else will be taking pictures and video taping, but i'm very particular in angles and certain shots so we'll see how it comes out.

It sucks that there is no DS in august. A month without it feels like a year. And it'll be good if you guys do bring your cars down from Maui to the track on Oahu because we don't get a chance to see outer island guys drift. Considering that we're a state and can't even drive across the whole thing we miss out on what the other islands have to offer to the drift community on Oahu.
edit: and just once, I'd like to be on the other side of the camera!

Haha oh we'll be there. Its interesting. Our style is very different from the oahu guys, my friend says. We do a lot of touge over on Maui, just cause of how rural and desolate many parts are. I dunno... i'm excited though. Hehe. Anyway, why is there no August D.S.? That seems quite odd. Oh well.
