i am celebrating diversity. and i also want a GTR skyline but iam weighing if settling for a gts is more than what i currently have? if i take the plunge and spend 20k on one of these i don't want something that is almost or closely similar to what i have now. i have almost 7 put away itching not to touch it for my current car endeavours. next year i should have my tally of 20 saved up before summer(not as quick as some people but).

Believe me, I wish there was more to update. Slack asses as the port are taking their sweet time to make sure everything is correct. I setup my insurance today at lunch time, it goes into effect tomorrow as that is what steve advised doing. Sat we are making plans to install of the parts and do a little cooking.

ZOMGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!! Okay, enough of that. IT has arrived. Steve had Dustin (sales guy) send me a msg mid day on friday saying it was probably going to be Monday or Tuesday, "they hadn't heard anything new"....
11PM Friday night which turned out be a tad better when My buddy Johnie who was in on the whole deal of not telling me till Sat morning, posted this... be prepared Johnie is working on a bunch of stuff, his skills with a camera are far superior to anything I can do. You will enjoy more from him as this progresses. Check out Rooksmag.com for more updates. he chronicled it all and is awesome http://www.rooksmag.com/ Back to the story now, This happened. So, if you follow me on facebook by now you know I got about 0 sleep last night. Got up earlier, went to tire kingdom and dropped off the SSR's. Was funny having the tech sound extremely confused that we had staggered fitment wheels.... Anyways, This was 10AM when I first got to climb into my car. I'm not going to say I was crying a little, it was hot and that was sweat, I swear. did a little inspecting, the Paint is flawless. a couple of the other guys who were there checking out their cars were painters, said that there was no way they could have done as good a paint job in their shop for under 5k. I'm beyond pleased with the color and finish. The car got new plugs, and it has a slight miss, we have just gotten started. with that, a few photos........ Sorry No bikini shots... The Work BRS Poisons didn't make it through the day, they are really sweet looking and with a new paint job they would be great, but they are 16s and just too small. Will restore them and dump some more $ into the R32. On the upside I found that the car does have a set of Tein coils, no idea what model, they are pretty dusty and nasty. The Greddy's are still going in. The Car has a Pilot brand Turbo timer handing under the dash that will need to be secured, and the Exhaust is a Japanese brand, Starts with a K (10 letters or so), and from what I gather is a bit of replica brand in Japan and will get replaced with something proper.... Arc, nismo, Greddy, ect. Very excited, once they are done checking everything over it will finally be home and then the real work starts. Rivsu was awesome and let us do a little work there, but it is only the beginning. no Suspension arms were found, I have my doubts that there are any, so that will be on the list. Was shopping for some Nismo ones earlier in the month, but now it is incentive to get to work.

The car looks amazing so far. I can't wait to see more pics. That's too bad about the poisons, but I bet they'll find a good home elsewhere. Get some sleep, so you'll be able to enjoy the experience of bringing it home.

Thanks.... but just to be clear, I'm a woman. Not a dude
Everyone was as much curious about my car as to what the deal was with a girl driving an R32. Oddly enough I wasn't the only girl there to pick up her car, the black GTST in front of me also belonged to another chick who her man had one of the GTRs that also came in. I enjoyed seeing all of the cars, the ZXR200 was beyond awesome, didn't even know those existed till recently. I also really got a kick out of the GTE R32 sedan. I have never seen an single cam RB20 before, and certainly not an RB with a Dizzy.... was definitely something different.

believe me 11 months ago, I never thought this was a reality either. If you buckle down and work hard, you too can own one. There is one that is more stock than mine and cleaner F/S from Rivsu right now for $7142 that will be shipped here in april. That is cheaper than most Jank S13s with an SR swap... it doesn't have to be cost prohibitive if you can be patient and wait for it. No worries. Just don't come up to me and ask if it is my "husband's car"... Start of what Rooksmag did for photos. he is still working on some of the photos, as he took over 300, but love this! http://www.rooksmag.com/blogs/2014/8/24/rivsu-imports

Actually the agressive stance btwn the R32 GTST and Gtr isn't that noticeable unlike the all the extrior differences in the R33 variants. Easier/cheaper to make an R32 GTST resemble a GTR vs an R33 to do the same. Plus the 32 is the underdog to me.

Congrats again on the car. It looks like it's in amazing condition.
I was beyond pumped when my car finally landed, and I was able to see/sit in it, so I know how you feel. Just a little longer, and you're out and about driving it. Wait what? I've seen both plenty of times in person, and there's a noticeable difference between a GTS and GTR. And some of them are rather in your face. |

Also will look a little off with having wider fenders up front with a flat ass.

yep the wider front and rear are pretty noticeable on the GTR Vs GTST. Granted you really have to know to see it, but I can live without the fatty rear end. the 17x9s with 235s filled the rear fenders pretty well. Once it is lowered a lot more on the greddy coils, it I will know if I want to roll the rear fenders or not. Still thinking 15 or 20mm spacers maybe in my future, but right now I'm content with the look. More important things to attend to right now. May have gotten to do a few 1,2nd, 3rd pulls in the parking lot on sunday.... It is enough for now to make me . FMIC, Bigger injectors, and tune with a bump in the boost really should help that as well. Going to need to do some reading on how far I can go before I need to start looking at upgrading the baby snail. 300 will make me beyond content, but I say that now....

I believe it is. Wasn't too worried about it when I was under the car to take photos of it. will do more of that tomorrow when I have a day off and check it out on the lift.
car went for Florida DOT inspection yesterday, cleared with flying colors. Maybe able to drive it home with a new Tag tomorrow. few shots sent to me after the detailer gone done with my car yesterday.

So in the down time my husband has been playing with these wheels. We ASSUMED they were Work BRS Posions based on the lay out and the obvious center caps. The thing that gets us is that there is no "WORK" embossed into any of the spokes. There is "WOOD BELL" which I have googled and found nothing on which is really odd. The build date stamps show 5/90 build date and they are 16x7 +0 (I believe) and 16x8 (Tapes show back spacing, unsure of offset on these as the stickers were too owned).
Any ideas on these? I have considered cleaning them up and selling them, or maybe just cleaning them up and throwing them on my CX5. I could step the lip and go to 17 which I much prefer on the R32 body, but as of now I really love the look of the Varden Sports. "WOOD BELL"? PS to take these apart the rear nut is a 10mm from the looks of it, what kind of socket is needed for the front? a standard 10mm 12 point do that? not as up on building wheels as I like so I'm not sure if this is a sandwich mount as they say or not? Any advice on that would be awesome. Will definitely give us something to expirement and learn with. once the faces are removed We can borrow a friends blaster cabinet and get all that corrosion and nasty paint off. Then to paint it a Nice gold color probably, will look good on the LP2 or dark blue CX5 anyway.

Then again, I think Juke's are awesome looking, but I'm a little off so... Have a lip and Amber corners coming, have Greddy Rear Spats, and it already has GTST side skirts. Once the aero stuff is done I think it will look even better. Wide fenders or not. The coils and FMIC certainly won't hurt in the beauty department either. Quote:
anyway, Detailers must have really enjoyed my car they cam back for round 2 and to take some photos for their site.... Can't say I blame them.

Car should be parked in my driveway tomorrow or friday. Car cleared all inspections, now it is just down to completing the tagging process and I can rock this baby this weekend. Husband had surgery today so we had a little time to run to the shop after and check it out, down side is he isn't allowed to do much for 2 weeks, so I maybe have to get my brother in law to lend me a hand to get things installed. Don't see me being patient enough to wait for the 2 weeks to get the FMIC in and new coils. Did get to drive it around a little bit, need to find myself a test pipe or make one, the car needs it.
