89 sr20det, im getting rough idle and black smoke, and when i come to a stop car dies. any one. (black smoke gas) would that be right?? HELP!!

black smoke = running rich

i have the same problem right now....trying to figure out whats wrong with it

i was having the same problem. I change out the spark plugs hoping it just need some TLC. I gapped it to .32 and it working fine right now.
