Hey guys! I'm building my Sr20det from the ground up. Head is almost done but the block is bare waiting to be hot tanked. I was wondering what would be 100% neccsssary to replace. Obviously the crankrod and crankshaft bearings as well as the head studs,gaskets, and such. But what about the guides,chain, main cap bolts and all that said should I replace them too?

If you're doing it from the ground up why not replace all that you can anyway? You're not going to go wrong using new equipment, unless it's installed wrong.
