Hey. I'm originally from Highlands Ranch/Littleton area but the military has taken me to San Diego. I miss it like hell there but there are definitely a lot more drift events here. Just got to go see D1GP All-Stars Japan vs. USA this weekend at Irwindale so I think I'll survive here for now. Oh, I have a Zenki S14 BTW.

i moved out here from cali with one of my friends. I don't have a 240 anymore. Someone else drove it into "Mt Shasta".
but my buddy has a maroon s13 hatch, mostly stock except for coilovers and replacement ka. pretty smooth, but a few weeks ago when it snowed and the roads were ice - well, he has bald es100's. HAHA. what a joke. didn't matter what gear you tried to start out it, you just spun your tires. couldn't even get going fast enough to feint drift down the street. //i have a 91 civic hatch. //hangs head in shame. //but, with the right e-brake'age, gas and countersteering, I can manage a clean feint drift for pretty much as long as I want.

I'm in the 'Springs....when I'm not traipsing around the globe doing G.W.'s dirty work on foreigners. Got an 87 S12, CA18DET waiting in my storage unit so I can become unusually irate and frustrated while attempting an engine swap when I gets home in March......2006.

Heh, I just moved to CS from Salt Lake City.
I'm mobilized at Ft. Carson for a year or so; just thought I'd introduce myself. I drive a black '91 240 that I've just barely completed an SR swap on. It's probably going to be in Salt Lake until Memorial Day though. Anyway, like I said, just wanted to introduce myself. Anyone in CS, or Ft. Carson, or anywhere wanna hang out just send me a PM. |

I hit up denver on monday i had to do some shit down there. Headed to the mountains to see if i could find any good roads. Bad thing about it is that i was driving my hundu but atleast i found some alright downhills and uphills in boulder, co. I feel that theres better roads somewhere around those mountains but i didn't felt like wasting gas yesterday.
Im heading up there in 3 weeks with the 240. Pm me any info on some good roads. I just saw a lot of subbies hauling ass around the corners and some really nice cars taking some nice turns. So im pretty sure i wasen't too far away from the good shit.

Ft. Collins!
Just got me a '89 coupe 3 days ago, and I can already tell what kind of money sink this thing is gonna be!...lol. But she's pristine, I've never seen a car this old look this good. Only had 77k miles on it, with a 'new' junkyard motor thats in fair condition. Gotta poke around tomorrow, dont think the radiator fan is coming on, the temp gauge started shooting up real fast at a stoplight tonight, until I started moving again. We'll see what I dig up... But any CO or Foco people should hit me up, or if we get really ambitious a CO meet of some kind. |
