F20C in a 240?
This is A Legit thread, Serious questions.
So since you guys hate the Rb20 so much, I am gonna sell it. I think a better choice would be swapping in a Honda F20C ( S2000 ) engine. I can get one for a really good deal so I'm thinking this is my next wroute, instead of scrapping my shell. Should be fun. It's lightweight and makes good power for being NA. Probably perfect for driftyo. Few questions. Should I keep it NA or boost it? 4 psi? How much power can the stock tranny take on it? Should I use the stock tranny or what? Does anyone make motor mounts? Uploaded with ImageShack.us |

Second, the fact that you allow others to dictate your build is sad. Grow a fucking spine and build a car for yourself, not for other men. Real suspect. Third, don't build a car just to be "different", chances are somebody's doing it better than you. Anyway, I feel bad for you, I truly do. So I've decided to use the search function and search for the build thread which you've should've done yourself. Found the thread: http://zilvia.net/f/chat/326640-proj...k-rebuild.html not a F20 but I figured it'd give you an idea. |

Nobody has ever dictated what I build. But I think if I did a F20C, it would be a interesting fun new build. I don't build cars to be different. I don't build cars. chances are somebody is doing it better than all of us. |

If you like the RB20 then use it. Why do you care what strangers on aboard think? Are you a 12 year old girl or something.
If you want a swap that takes fabricating but makes a ton of power for cheap then do a 4g63 not a F20C. And 4psi??? Seriously?

Holy fuck, shut up. You're such an annoying douchebag that seriously needs to get off the computer and take in some air from the outside world.
"Every human has a spine." you don't say, Sherlock! You act like a little bitch and defend yourself like we all log in just to flame you. You put a target on your back and I was truly hoping you had finally quit Zilvia. Your very existence on this forum has left such a sour imprint on how people treat you and no matter how nice somebody can be to you, you still manage to act like a pompous prick. Anyway, I edited my post and I left you a link. Not a 20C but it should give you a general idea. |

Because it steals hp to make hp and a 4 cylinder doesn't make enough power on its own to be running a s/c. Turbo is far more efficient. Don't make things more difficult than they have to be.

Yea. Maybe you should watch RealStreetPerformances vids. They pushed 37 psi on an unopened f20 made 700hp and ran nines. Cam only internally. Factory high compression pistons. Precision 6776 I believe.

I'm surprised you had anything that could be of use for this thread. thanks.
I know lol. Just like Unopened B16's and B18's that run 4-600+ but the difference is that those engines are not ran on pump gas. they use c12, C16, etc. But I know what honda engines are capable of Also I'm not doing this swap. Way too much of a pain in the ass, and I hate I don't like the F20 engine ( personal preference don't start going apeshit ) |

the f20c can handle boost and that it does very well. all forged internals in the f20 with head studs and a good head gasket, have been known to hold 15-20psi sometimes more.
