intake manifold and heater core simplification
hello people of zilvia i am a brand new 240sx s13 owner and was hoping to get some help with a few things. so to help understand exactly what im doing i bought a burgundy 89 coupe with no rad support or wheel wells the motor and trans are also out. (a project i know) anyway to the point i have my intake taken out and im trying to replace all of the hoses and lines (they are crusty af) and while i took them off they pretty much all cracked and i was not able to measure them so im trying to figure out what size they all are. secondly i want to delete my heater core mostly because my dash and dash bar and everything in the dash is already out including the blower motor the heater core and all the ac stuff. (i also live in florida so i dont really need the heat). any and all advice that you all have is appreciated. i currently know very little about 240's but im learning and hope you all can help me.
thanks everyone!!! |

Ka24de or Sr20?
you can delete any of the coolant lines that run to the throttlebody as well as loop the circuit that runs to the heater. Use this for some reference. http://givemeshred.com/sr20det-coola...implification/

Yeah I mean it's not like he could literally take a pair of calipers and measure the OD of the fitting or nipple, and then go to the local autozone and purchase a few feet of that size or anything. Totally impossible unless you're the most experienced and skilled mechanic.
