Drunk or not, they didnt deserve it. A picture of him having a drink that night is on twitter. But that doesnt mean he was drunk. A lot of people have one or two and drive home. If he was drunk driving, its a good thing no other cars were involved. But it is still a tragic mistake and lapse of good judgment. |

135mph is speculation. No skid marks or way of telling how fast he was going. But he was driving fast.
But ive done 90 on that stretch with no problems late at night, numerous times. Until further detail come out no one other than those two really know what happened or why. |

drunk or not, if a speed limit sign says 60, speeding is INSAAAAAAAAAANE and nobody should ever do that ever because it's against the law and we're all a bunch of law abiding cool guy straightedge motherfuckers, aren't we?

Idiot crossed a boundary he shouldn't have. If an innocent family would have been involved we'd see a lot more harsher comments. I don't respect nor see much value in the Jackass crew so this event has no effect on me.
Passenger was either enjoying himself or didn't have the balls to tell Ryan to stop/slow down the car. That's my take on this.

The GT3 was known for lift-oversteer. I think those are sliding marks not all brake marks. He might of made the turn if he kept on the gas. Looks like that 3rd strip is from the back tire getting perpendicular with the road. That car was about to be in a full spin. |

so if your RIP thread comes out and they suspect speeding because you are going 135 on the daily, we can not really care and just brush you off and say "he had it coming"? im ok with that.

LMAO ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ahahahahha i LOL'd IRL
Castro you're awesome. yeah i agree with Hamburg, that Rb25 chuki dude was annoying as shit. He was acting as if he was best buds with the dude. Falkon240 made a valid point earlier in this thread. Im amazed its gone this long. Ryan Dunn was indeed a funny guy, but that doesnt mean I'm going to feel bad that he made an extremely poor decision. I'm straight edge and almost despise anyone that even considers driving while under the influence. I try not to surround myself with stupid people and i always offer to be designated drivers to close friends. stupid stupid decision and he payed the ultimate price. I'm just glad innocent people weren't injured. if his passenger wasn't intoxicated he should have known better. |

Ryan Dunn... Shit happens man. In all honesty I'm pretty sure the majority of us have driven with some alcohol in our system. It was stated earlier that alcohol affects us all differently, even if it was only one beer people can feel a slight buzz. I know this for a fact cause I've had friends who would get drunk off two beers.
It sucks that he died but no one truly knows if the guy was wasted. He was sure as hell speeding though.

LOL This shit is what cracks me up, so many of you act like you're saints when you drive and I'm sure none of you have sped/street raced/drifted/spiritedly drove canyons or anything of that sort. Most of you do it but then are the first people to talk shit when someone else dies/gets busted for it. I'm willing to bet that less than 5% of the "keep it on the track" guys follow their own words 100% of the time.

I do love how zilvia is full of spiteful people that never do anything wrong.
Ive always laughed at the threads where people cry about drifting on the street or driving above the speed limit. I do both, all the time. I drive crazy as hell when the time is right. But spirited driving, even reckless driving, is far less severe to me than drunk driving. Drunk driving mixed with spirited or reckless driving is a fucking lethal combo though. Driving requires so much focus and attention, especially when doing 100+ mph (which Dunn clearly was). Mix that with the poor decision making and slow rection times that alcohol causes and youre fucked.
