New TMNT Series
The new CG TMNT series started this week. I got a chance to watch it last night.
I thought it was AWESOME. Even the original theme is there with new versus. The animation is CG and it very well done. There are some twists to the old characters, like April is a younger girl, and Splinter isn't 150 years old. But the core turtles characters are exactly the same. I seen the new action figures at Target and they look pretty cool too. I'm going to go and buy the whole set and put them away for my son to play with when he's a little older.

do NOT like.
clay is bad. they look more like the 8 year old ninja turtles. (and sound like them) michaelangelo should sound like a surfer and be like "cowabunga dude!" /thread |

Omg Omg Omg great so far.
Is it sad that I already want the video game.? I hope its around for a while, its off to a good start. I don't like how they made April a lil girl....kills the "romantic interest" of the series. Cant wait for Yosaki Yojimbo! Nice "cameo" in the first episode!

Its nickelodeon. Of course its a little cheap, they look young, and all around pussy.
Its for kids. You arent gonna get KC Jones cussing and cracking skulls. Wasnt there a time when they met Cerabus in one of the novels? Maybe Im off, its been a couple decades since I read them. Guess Eastman and Laird are still alive?? lol |

No, i mean April is a little girl. In most of the series shes been at least "older"...i guess.
I don't mind that its a bit "softer" than usual. That's the way of the world these days.

Yeah, I don't mind that it's for kids. I want my kids to be able to enjoy it like I did when I was a kid.

i'll check it out... been a big tmnt fan but, been disappointed with the newer series.
they need to redo EXO squad series in dope CG, not the cheap lazy cg shows i see these days. |

As much as I like TF Prime I want to see a nice quality animated G1 TF cartoon. Like the quality of all these Marvel straight to DVD movies. Hell, I'd even go for that. lol

I used to have a comic of the ninja turtles where they were actually using their weapons to stab and kill people. We need a cartoon like that.

first time i saw it, today. i like the art style. looks like its the same artist that does starwars CG cartoons.
action is a little choppy but, its enjoyable. voice acting is ok. i'd like raphael to have a ny dialect atleast. |

As much as a cool adult TMNT would be, that's not where the money is. It's in kids shows and action figures.
