KA24DE Speed Sensor
Hey everyone!,
I am new to this website and would just like to say I enjoy this website and it has helped me out allot and if I am posting this in the wrong place I am sorry!. Okay. So I have a dual cam ka in my 1990 240sx and I had my speed sensor go out , so I picked up a used one and the guy said it worked . so I installed it and I still do not get a reading , so I lifted the car again and followed the wire as far back as I could and it looks fine. Is there anything else it could be? Sensor need a certain torque? Or did this guy just sell me a bunk sensor?. Thanks in advance!!! |

It's a possibility that your speedometer took a dump. Another possibility that the guy sold you a broken VSS. Take a look at the FSM, you will find the information that you will need to diagnose the VSS
