great event! I was having a really hard time with my car after not driving it for the last 5-6 months then have some mechanical issues during the third gear comp.
BIG thanks to Naoki and his staff for hosting this event and all the guests that showed up. see you in 5 months! LOL

Thanks to all the drift day staff. I easily got the 2nd gear course but took me almost all day to finally understand the 3rd gear course. Just one question to any of the staff who were apart of the comp. How did my round 1 -1st place and round 2- 4th place equal a 4th place overall? the guys who got 1-3 had like 10th and lower placings in round 1? just curious?Had a great time and look forward to having more fun out there next time

i think there were prizes. naoki got busy, so yoshie and hiro announced the winners.
basically this is what happened, there were 2 courses. there were 3 ppl who only competed in the 2nd gear course. those 3 places 1-3. the rest of you who competed in both, received one total score. the total points added from the 2nd gear and 3rd gear. some totally rocked 2nd gear and didn't do so well on 3rd gear, which is why you would see an odd scoring difference. hope that answers your question. 2nd gear: 1. evan dunham 2. phillip masterfield 3. alex villareal (for those that know him, his corolla decided not to work when he got to the track that morning, so he borrowed swayray's s13 coupe. lol. he looks better in a nissan anway. jk jk. i think i have some incriminating photos of him sitting in the coupe, just waiting to be leaked on to club4ag.) over all: 1. tak machida 2. jp mendoza 3. rene (from cx racing) as of right now looks like 2nd gear gets a free drift day entry as a prize, and for over all the winner gets 2 free drift days. congratulations to the winners!
