From Freshalloy:
1998 2178 1997 3655 1996 7334 1995 25114 1994 1167 1993 21471 1992 27033 1991 34534 1990 60582 1989 68118 Convertibles 1992 2102 1993 3892 1994 1167 The convertible numbers are included in the totals. I'm not sure if this is just the US, or the US and Canada (It definitely doesn't include Japan, Europe, etc). ~5800 kouki S14 240SX's built |

only about 5800 s14as made in the entire USA..and i dunno if canada is included like "AKADriver" stated, man juss think about it, millions of ppl or thousands of ppl in the US and Canada added together..and only about 6000 were made, man thats mind bogglin!! dont forget some of them crashed too! thats even worse! and gotta say 50 50 on the Auto and Manual thing..the thing that amazes me is ppl actually wanna sell the damn thing! amazing
to newbies: now do u understand y ppl flame you and tell u to get a s14 when u say "i wanna get a s14a and do s15 conversion to it" look at da numbers!!! |

With so many S13's made compared to the S14 i'm surprised that this site has such a large percentage of S14 owners. You would think S13 owners would be prominent here.

i think another reason that the s13 is not as popular as the s14 here because alot of the s13 are POS's and old people drive them atleast all the s13s that i see around me are |

true..most of the s13s i see are driven by old ppl are young ppl who are not interested in going fast, probably a car that their parents gave down to them, i mean i see the same for s14s but s14s are more rare to see drivin by old ppl. theres a s14a around here only one of them, [damn they are rare] only one that i seen but is driven by a non fix my car up person

that's all well and good, but... has anyone else noticed that ALOT of S14 drivers are black women about 25-30 years old... at least where i'm at (NoVa). it never fails... i see another S14 up ahead... catch up to it and it's a black woman, looking forward and acting like she doesn't know that your driving the same car.
what up with that? just curious... * *not a racist, my sister's black

are the 95's really that high in production? i am stunned. i have a '95 w/ 5spd ABS and LSD with that purple/blueish color. i have heard that my car is really rare. cuz most of the cars were autos. kinda like the preludes. most were sold with autos. but i have seen maybe...maybe 5 different 95/96 styled 240s in az. the 89-94 are really popular in az down here. i guess cuz they dont rust out like if they are in the north or by the ocean. but the sun does eat the paint like no other.

just a quick question: i had thought that all 240's were made in japan. if that's true (correct me if i am incorrecto), are those production numbers for just in the US, or is there a number out there that shows the #'s for all 240's (the list would include US, Euro, Aussie, and Japanese markets)?

Did 95's have a tendancy to disapear then??? I don't see to many of them around for being so high in production.
