Yeah except for the fact that its demos and not open track time.

Ya its just ride alongs in Hamptons RX8.

Well I am pretty sure you cannot drift on the track in your own car. You can do two things:

1) Hit the track for timed trials and win prizes if you have good times in RX-8s (or some other mazda, I forget).

2) Ride along in drift cars

Do you guys know more about it? I didn't hear much about the dallas event...

One of the marketing guys posted on ClubFR. Looked kind of ricey. There is an autox where I guess you can actually drive a mazda 3 but its not worth going to all that trouble for what I'm guessing 1 run in a car that is not your own, and is fwd.

Yea the more I read about it the more flashy and stupid it sounds. I think I will just save my money for the projectaspec events. What are you guys going to be attending this summer? I was thinking about the two events in michigan but 5 hours of driving is a tad annoying...

yeah i think project a spec has two this summer
someone else is having one in indiana that is close by might go to also.

There should be clubfr and possibly a US drift event in south bend.
