Ok my sr got a knock a couple of weeks ago, sounds like tis coming from the number 1 cylinder and only happens at a certian rpm between 1500 and 2000. It knocks once going up and then knocks again when it comes back down. Whatever it was it blew out the front main seal. As soon as i heard it coming off the interstate pulld over, had it trailored home and all. First of all im open to opinions on wht exactly it is thats wrong but ill make another thread for that. I figure the piston and rod needs to be replaced so while im in there im gonna go ahead and upgrade them all, i already decided on eagle rods but im still undecided on the best pistons. I need something more sturdy/reliable than stock but not ridiculously expensive, best ive found is around 500 which i think i can deal with. So my question (finally) what are my options as far as good pistons for the sr. any info is appreciated.
