Your entry fee will not be refunded if you come and your car fails tech! If you have questions please PM me or contact me. Here's what we will be checking... Wheels and Tires All wheel lug nuts present and torqued No center caps on wheels Street tires At least 2/32 of tread depth Race tires No cord showing No cuts or defects Engine No fluid leaks Wires & hoses secured Good throttle return action Radiator overflow container Battery secured and terminals covered (Terminal covers at Autozone/Kragan: $4.00) Condition of fluid lines: good no cracks Brakes Pedal pressure firm (recommend you bleed your brakes with good fluid before the event) Correct fluid level and not black Condition of brake lines Working brake lights Condition of rotors (no cracks, etc) Steering & Suspension Wheel bearings not loose Tight steering Body Gas cap All bumpers/spoilers/body panels secured Safety Helmet - Snell 2005 or newer, M or SA Seat belts must be functional Please be sure to wear appropriate driving clothes and shoes...no flip flops, sandals, etc. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- There will be full fire/rescue team and corner workers at the event. Yes, I will be opennign up drifting in the afternoon most likely. If there is enough experienced people, Alex know's that I know who they are, lol, then maybe there will be a whole 3rd group for just drifting.
But for sure after lunch

No necessarily, you can get used to the track in the morning that take a shot at it in the afternoon.
Mu main concern is safety. We have a good rep with Willow and want to be able to hold these private events int he future. If you are a beginner to drifting, then most likely I will have to say no. I will have some Formula D instructors there as well that can help you. Plus John Chow is the man Currently the following Formula D drivers are tentative as instructors: Alex Pfieffer Michael Essa Tony Brakhoiapa

Once I get a confirmed drift group and I make sure my car survives ThunderDrift's ProAm on the 13th I'll sign up. Somewhat tentative I suppose you could say. Subscribed.

I am open to making a drift group, but as of right now no one is sigmed up for drift. So making a drift group will be dependant on that.
In conclusion the drift group will be made as long as we have enough sign ups interested in it, minimum 5 i will say

I encourage drifters to try this. Especially because some formula D drivers will be there for instruction, this is a perfect course for non-beginners to learn a lot.
I absolutely love HTM and hate that a perfect opportunity like this comes up when I've lost my car and license. Good luck at the event everyone and staff! |

Thanks for the kind words man. Even in grip form HTM is a great track to really push and learn you car, think of it as a safer canyon road.

160 seems a little steep for one day. But i know its only limited to only 20 drivers but for that price some groups host two days for that price or if not around 180. If its a for sure thing that theyll be a run group for drifting and i hope its not only gonna be two hours like it say mayb itll be the whole day??

As I updated already it will be Group B for the entire day. Also, the less expensive events you see have more people, and also not private and on the balcony.
