So after trying every avenue to get my 326Power kit here on time for WekFest, and not succeeding, I decided to change it up. I started with a new quick render that I whipped up in Photoshop, then got to work.
Driver side headlight installed. Spirit Rei front bumper installed, then chopped. Wald Black Bison bottom end chopped. Then the measuring began... Since the Wald front bumper is wider and very square compared to the Spirit Rei Odyvia front, this is a rather hard task compared to the bumpers that I have had made in the past. We ended up sectioning certain sections in order to flex the bumper a bit better into position and after centering / measuring for ground clearance, we screwed things into place. The vents will be cut off, moved to the sides, and fiberglass will be added to fill in the gap. I'll show you guys what I'm doing for the grill soon... By the way, here is my friend's S2000 that I'm excited about. We built the Weds Kranze Vishunus for it and he is doing equally as awesome custom bodywork / bumpers for his build. We'll both be showing off our cars at Wekfest San Jose next month. |

love the fvckin rendering! car will be amazing. How do you flex the ends of the bumper, to meet up with the odvia fenders properly?
Also what kind of fiberglass, other material you use to mold them together? |

Sideskirt after cutting and correct positioning. Metal brackets were used to achieve the desired ground clearance and the gap will be filled with fiberglass.
Fender vent yet to be cut. The Wald vents were sectioned and moved to the sides with metal plates acting as a placeholder and backing so fiberglass can be laid. |

Awesome progress on the pic!
So you lay fiberglass over the metal plates, then remove plates after the desired amount applied?? The whole kit is off the Mercedes wald kit, anything custom for the rear? |

Fiberglass is laid behind the metal plates. Rear is also Wald, but it's a pain because the C63 rear is round while the S13 rear is squared off. We sectioned the bumper this morning and screwed it into place. Might end up opening a mold for it because I don't want too much bondo on it. Will post photos later.

Got my clutch today. Blitz Active Clutch for S15... super hard to find S15 stuff stateside.
Rear bumper... This one is going to be somewhat difficult since the original rear bumper is super curved. Going to need to section this guy or go with a different plan. Kind of an expensive experiment but I should've thought about it beforehand. |

Front bumper
Fender Vent Holes shaved in engine bay Riveted quarter panel and finished side skirt Definitely will make a few minor adjustments to the front bumper this week. Small changes that 99% of people won't notice. Created section Sideskirt and lined up fender vent You can see how far off the old fender vent used to be. This caused everyone building an Odyvia to shave the upper and lower bodyline. I have a good solution for the bottom one that you will see later on. Hood modification and rear bumper progress coming soon. Also, wheels will be mounted soon so we can start on the fender re-shaping. |

Yes that is the plan, the problem is that doing a fuel cell setup is a lot of work and I will have hardly any time to do it once the car is out of the body shop. I'm probably going to try and fake a dual with tips, kind of like how ls460 tips are built into the bumper. I maybe also hold off and create a single exit exhaust rear bumper with the Spirit Rei miyabi 180sx rear. I like the look of that one a lot more.

Do not leave that damn bracket on the drivers side wheel well after smoothing out and filling the whole engine bay.
Outside of that. Awesome custom work your doing here. Im looking forward to seeing this thing completed. |
