Alright, so i have been back and forth with engines here. I have both an S13 and an S14. I have been looking at ls engining the S14, but funding is not quite there, so I am looking towards modding the S13 instead. I have a financial restraint of around 4 grand total after installing everything while doing all the labor myself. I am looking for the most horsepower and torque as well as the most reliability within that price range. I have been looking at RB25s as well as turboing the KA although the KA would need a total rebuild, as well as its a single cam engine, being from an 89 with 180k miles and some serious engine noise. I have also been thrown an offer for a VG35 engine for 600 bucks, buck have not known much about that swap or engine in general. I am just hoping to hear some advice from some of you that have been more active in the Nissans recently, as I took a little time away from playing around with them.

Is the vg just the engine and thats it? Does it run?
