[CA] smog question
New Guy here with a newb question ..
I'm looking at a 97 Silvia sr and the Guy says it does not pass smog, and you can not make it so it will pass smog. It doesn't look like a track car at all, no cage or anything like that. I think this Guy got the car at an auction and he doesn't know what he is talking about. Could I just throw some cats on it and be good? |

Hahahaha. No.
An SR is not CARB (California Air Resources Board) legal. Just because a car has catalytic converters doesn't make it smog legal. And just because a car doesnt look like a track car it doesn't mean it's street legal either. It doesn't mean a place that could pass you (illegally) is impossible to find. |
