I have a vlsd I was going to put in but I have a non abs driveshaft. Will the extra length of the driveshaft cause damage to my transmission? Should I switch pumpkins?

It shouldn't, there is usually enough play to make it work. I have used abs differentials on non abs cars several times with no issues.

The only way it will work is if you're still using the factory driveshaft.
