Speed sensor location

My speedo/odometer doesn't work and i was trying to find the location of my speed sensor but i can't find it.. i have an s13 blacktop! thank you very much

its located on the transmission. im not sure of its exact location but i believe its further back coming from the side. not exactly sure tho

Back of the transmission by the shifter on the passenger side. Comes out at a 45* angle.

i found it, thank you very much everyone! sooo i pulled the sensor out and noticed that the red gear had been stripped or all messed up, is that why my speedo/odometer isn't working?!

soo i went to the junkyard hoping to find one but nope i failed.. a friend of mine told me i could get it off a ka24de tranny but it was different..

You have a S13 or S14 chassis? What did you try to take it out of?

if you have a s13 black top . red top

get a ka 24de speed sensor , as long as its for a de it will work ,

the s13 dohc and s14 dohc sensors are different but are they not compatible as long as they are both manual?
