That cage is on point. Car looks good and no shit about that wing, huh? A lot of the wings I've heard aren't that great fitting for the hatches. Not quite sure why but regardless, keep it up!

car. totally done. 1 in 10 builds follow through till the very end wel here you have it. more pics to come... but a quick look...
car is running at its peak right now. melting my face at a cool 20psi right about maxing out my injectors and maf. coolant temperature a solid 180* . dont even have to run the fan at 50+mph. oil temperatures always below coolant at a solid 170* . oil pressures at idle a healthy 35psi at NOT compared to the 9 i was getting before. af ratios on point. i drove the car over an hour on the interstate with zero issues. throttle tip in a little weird but very streetable. this is a solid car all around and that was my goal. great success! How bad was it getting the wing to fit? I had the force works version and it is shitty so I'm scared to buy the 6666 and have the same happen. If anything I suppose I will just go with origin lab or a type x spoiler

i had one of the first wings shipped to the states. fitment was donkey dick as stated in the thread. absolutely terrible. but after some work it fit amazing and has been very durable to say the least. i dont regret buying it or anything..

got my LS3 heads back from Jeff Gunther yesterday. I took them in with 80k+ miles. he tore them down. pressure checked. magnafluxed. bead blasted. milled .012". redid the valve seats. identified 3 bad valves. assembled with my titanium spring seats, PAC .650 dual springs, titanium retainers, seals and stems. Also pressed in my Comp Trunion kit into my rockers. All in all I have less than 1000 in my heads.
For anyone wanting to build on a budget. Wiseco Junkyard Dog piston kits fit right down on the stock rods. since this was an LQ4 with pressed wrist pins and weaker rods. I went with some beefy GEN4 rods with floating pins and ARP rod bolts I picked up for 100 bucks. the pistons can be had in multiple different configurations for about 770 with rings.. [IM |
