first of all i'd like to say i haven't seen more bullshit in a thread in such a long time, but i haven't seen more truth in this thread too. Squidd and yokotos13 pretty much have it right on the money, the other idiots in this thread need to just shut up and learn what you're talking about before you try and debate your narrow minded opinions.
PICS: notice the CHROME door handles luxurious interiors vertex badging, something about that mentioned earlier in the thread |

I was going to talk about the difference between vip and vip style. But pretty much everything has been covered. Just throwing vip wheels on a car does not make it vip. I wouldn't even call a car vip-styled with out seeing the interior, one of the most important parts of a vip car.
I don't believe that you have to have 4 doors as you can vip many 2 door offerings from MB and BMW. Hell even the SC430. Owning both a fully done 240sx and a 2003 Lexus GS I know I can turn my GS into a drift car but not a 240sx into a VIP car. What the thread starter seems to want is pics of low, big wheeled, body kited, 240's.

Stop the bitching and arguing and post pics like it asks for
326 cars except for the Super Made one at the bottom

Problem being is I don't think many (other than Supermade) have made VIP styled s13/s14's. It's very hard to make a cheap car look baller.

you know, you dont have to consider it vip, i think falken is callin it autolux style, and i think its cool, i mean make your 240 fast as hell, but than as nice the interior of a e55amg, or something, and pay attention to detail, and have nice rims, think the exact opposite of late 90's fast and furious honda civics.

this has got to be one of the most entertaining threads i've read in a while. seriously there shouldn't be anymore shit talking after squidds post. i think the closest thing to VIP style on an S chassis are the supermade 326 power cars.

Im not into VIP "styled" cars just because it just doesnt fit my personality. I dont like to show off how much money I have so "Bippu" is realy like the opposite of my style. Ive read through all 4 pages of this and the only thing I dont like is people trying to say someone is hating on VIP cause they are poor and dont have the money to build one. Its not about the money, some people honestly dont like the style.
Yokotas13, You really dont make yourself look good by name calling and ensenuating that your better than someone becuase you may have more money/faster car than them. But by the picture in your sig I can see that hate is your best source of attention. Busted 13, I feel you but you have to understand that like everything else, VIP can be done right or it can be done ghetto as hell. Rusty multi colored cars with faded stock interiors and expensive wheels is pretty ghetto. You cant be VIP if you ran out of money and your drivng around with a car half done. Something that can easily be pulled off though if you claim to be a drifter. To OP, As brought out it cost a lot of money to get a 240sx up to par. You sure you want to waste it on a daily driver? Heres a picture that come to mind when I think of VIP styled 240sx's (minus the stickers). |

LOL! some one clean up the first three pages and this post, THIS IS REALLY FUCKING REDICULOUS! 3 pages whining about what V.I.P. is by most people who can't even afford 1 tire to go on a vip WHEEL let alone the whole style setup.
If you're offended because YOU can afford VIP then the comment wasn't for you.

I like how a bunch of guys in here who've never been in Japan and have no clue are trying to explain something.... VIP is a trim of Toyota Crown and Nissan President that old guys roll around in, VIP cars are cars Yakuza roll around in to show off their money.
Alot of you guys buying stuff from Japan don't realise it but you might get props parking your car in the Jusco parking lot at Custom Night with the rest of the dress up dudes but take your car where I go after custom night and you're not going to get laughed at (because Japanese people arn't like that) but they'll be laughing on the inside. My car, when I finally got my 14 tuned enough to beat up I took it to my favorite hang out right before I left to this shit hole in the Middle East. Everyone there was amazingly interested in what I've done with the 14... One dude started looking at the interior and made a comment at all the gay little dress up stuff I have.. He said "I must have a Japanese girlfriend" So once again lets reiterate. Just because it's seen in magazines doesn't mean people are doing it. Oh crap, I let dress up out of the bag, now everyone on Zilvia is going to be buying body kits for their bB's and Ist's.... |
