Unfortunately, I have to sell my ka-t 240
Hey guys,
Its been fun while it lasted, but with bills surmounting and having to leave working to pursue school full-time, I have to sell my 240sx. It is a ka-t which I bought from Paul (darkraptor42) on this forum, and not too long after, I'm forced to sell it. It's a great project car, and with a fuel pump, tuning & boost controller can easily run some really good times in the 1/4. The Good: 1990 240sx 1997 Ka24de engine recently rebuilt bottom end with new .022 (I think thats the right unit) overbore pistons,gaskets, seal bearings, wrist pins, etc... 46k miles on the Tranny, Top end T3 dodge Daytona unit (about to be rebuilt when it comes in) JGS Tools manifold with 10 miles on it. (welded by GTPRO) recently fabbed 3" dp (about 10 miles as well, fabbed by GTPRO) Greddy SR20 IC Piping Tial 35mm wg with 5 psi spring & external dump Nissan Avenir FMIC (just recently cleaned at radiator shop) S14 greddy PX exhaust w/ Megan Racing muffler (original was stolen) Aftermarket radiator (forget brand now) Eibach's (Pro Kits I believe, the lesser drop one) all around Tokiko Blues in the Front, AGX's in the back Brand new battery Just got another used distributor/MAF in a couple of days Generic intake (not really good, but open element is better than stock airbox anyways) Full Erebuni body kit molded in Considerably cleaned up wiring since Paul's ownership and put custom intake pipe to get a lot more distance b/w turbo & MAF (the latter will be done in a couple of days) Battery relocated to rear New turbo & exhaust mani gaskets New Spark plugs/oil/oil filter Car will be smogged and registered when bought. Nice Additional Goodies not put on: 370cc injectors rear tokiko blues/eibachs Erebuni wing (not pretty IMHO, but if its your thing, go for it) Most of 300zx brake upgrade (all 4 calipers, 2 rotors) 97 FSM, 90 chiltons Misc. Interior parts (car is stripped from front seats back) I'll throw in some subs for 100 bucks if anyone wants them, but with this car, I doubt it. Subs are 2 JL Audio 10w0s in a JL Audio powerwedge box The Bad: Salvage title (but hell, all the value of the car is what's been put it anyways) Some damage to front lip of kit, dent in fender, rear bumper molding needs to be touched up Speedo busted (hit 4 x 2 on fwy) No cat (well, that one actually depends) One headlight is out (with all the expenses, that has been really minor) Car is primered Large Scratch on passenger side of the bumper (but its primer anyways, so no big deal) I don't have any pics up yet, but I'm willing to field any questions you have about the car. It has had small problems, but I have fixed most of them as they have come along, sans the ones listed above. I am awfully sorry to have to part with the car, but life has left me no choice in the matter. If you want to contact me, pm me, IM me (The Voddka) or email [email protected]. I'm going to start the bidding where the original started at 5K obo, but I'm pretty flexible on the price BTW, I'm not a n00b in the true sense.
