PICS from the Texas Mile this weekend.
:Unfortunately this year, Smoky Nagata and his amazing Supra did not make it as the Supra did not pass US Customs. Originally the San Antonio Z Club, Zsport.org, made plans to attend on this note alone but once we heard the bad news we thought about not attending at all. Regardless of the recent bad news, Zsport still decided to attend.
:Late friday night, Mike "Mad Dawg" Delashmutt (aka, Motormutt), Isaac (aka, Aidenverse) and myself headed out for Beevile Airport to attend the event. Besides getting lost in the middle of Texas and stopping at a prison to ask for directions, we arrived late that night around midnight. We set up a make shift theater in the airfield and began to just relax and watch a bevy of motorsports cinema. :From here, we began to break out the TT.net approved livations.....Shiner Bock beer and enjoy ourselves. All through the night we had golf carts and Polaris off road 4 wheelers hauling ass past us. Some would stop by and watch the screen and partake in some of the sweet Texas nectar we provided. I quickly found out that Mike wasn't much of a drinker, in fact it was only his second time drinking ever. Muuahahahqahahahahahhaha :So, I go on a mission to get Mike D....trashed. :Mike D after a few drinks of MD 20/20. Starting to feel the effects. :Me and Mad Dawg. :Isaac doing his best to ignore all the drunken idiots around him. :Mad Dawg is in the zone. :Mad Dawg has to pee. : :So the sun rises on the Texas Mile and we are off to a bright start. :But the morning is not so kind to poor Mad Dawg and he is feeling the after effects of a stomach full of MD 20/20. :So we started out early with the photos. Some great shots here. Got a chance to catch a lot of cars "sleeping". |

See the first sentence, U.S. Customs didn't allow the car through. What kind of b/s is that... That modern Superbird is both appalling and cool at the sametime.
