s13 Idahos13's Never Ending Money Pit!

Well I will start from the start. I picked up the car I believe around 4 years ago, I bought it with a knocking KA. That same day I picked up a healthy motor and transmission. I soon started the motor swap.
its a 1993 240sx. I picked this up for $1000, it already had eibach sportline springs, B&M short shifter, Venom 400, and AEM cold air intake. But the bad is it has a rod nock. so on with the pictures

and there is the donor under the tarp

door inserts, glove box, and center arm rest console are all covered in suede or how ever you spell it.

From there I put it all back together. When I first tried to start the motor it was off time, so I timed it and it fired right up!
I was driving it around my driveway cuz no plates + no insurance = no fun.

Ooops ha

I got some black interior vents for free.

At this point I was trying to clean up my interior a little bit. I installed the black vents and ditched those ricer white ones with the quickness.

I went back out and snapped off some pics of the new key ring light when it was dark out.

And I just thought these ones were trippy, camera was not wanting to take pictures correctly without flash.

Bay shot!

Today I got tired of looking at that nasty fuel hose coming from my fuel filter so I got some new fuel hose.
Pic of nasty electrical taped hose that had electrical tape clamped to the hose with hose clamps. I'm guessing there was something wrong with the hose lol.

New hose on.

And I got two electric fans for free

One is inside the box still.

Alright so recently I have removed my AC pump and bracket from my block, and my clutch fan. I decided I wanted to have an electric fan for a cleaner look. Here are some pics I took of my car recently.
My interior as of recently. I got rid of the suede on the center console arm rest.

Painted my white passenger side mirror black.

Pictures of the KA!

Thats it as of recently. Im going to be trying to clean up my bay some more.

So my radiator hose kept leaking where the thermostatic switch probe wire was routed, so I tightened the hose clamp some more and jiggled my hose and this is what happened...

So I went to Autozone and bought me a new one for $110

Then a picture of it after I got the job done.

I recently purchased some LED lights.
I already did the Trunk/Hatch area.
Sorry for the crappy picture.

I'm going to be putting in LED lights in my Dome light and my gauge cluster. All white LED's.
I have some parts laying around that I need to put on, but I'm lacking motivation since there is snow everywhere and I don't have a heated garage that protects me from the elements.
More updates to come!

^Thanks! Actually my car isn't black, I painted it a Porsche color called Dark Olive Mettalic. It is a dark green. I will have to get a good picture of it one of these days.
Update time:
I recieved my H4 Headlight housings with bulbs today.

They appear to be decent quality.

The H4 bulbs will most likely be that nasty blue color, so I will most likely ditch them for some other bulbs. I will post pictures of install and how the lights are.

I also ordered some LED lights that have 12 LED's for my dome light. And I also ordered LED 194 bulbs for my gauge cluster and possibly the climate controll area.

Here is a picture of the brand new normal dome light bulb that I just got. Sorry for the bad pictures.

Here is the LED dome light bulb. Pictures don't do it justice.

I will post more pictures later. Thanks for looking!

I have a short little update here. I put in my headlights like two days after I got them. Surprisingly the bulbs aren't that bad of quality. Decently bright and they are white, which is a plus for me. On to the pictures.

I also ditched those stupid pivot racing pedal covers.

And also if you haven't noticed by now, I took out the wink mirror and put my stock rearview mirror in along with my visors.

I should have some more updates soon

Well today I decided to put in my LED gauge cluster bulbs. Man what a pain in the ass to get the gauge cluster out. I also changed the gauge bezel for my black one I had to get rid of that nasty white one.
On to the pictures.

Starting of the day pulled the 240 out into the sunlight so it would be a little warmer working on it.

Tried to get a better picture of the green.

this is after I got it all back together.

I tried getting a picture of the interior lights with my phone.

I tried getting a picture with the good camera but it doesnt like no flash

Nobody is commenting on this, kinda makes me feel bad lol. Well hopefully more updates here soon.
