Nothing wrong with that swap. It will be faster than S15 SR20DET stock, but you can turn up the boost. If you are an NA enthusiast, the F20C is the motor of choice.

i remember i read an article from club4ag long time ago saying there is a swap for the S2000 engine into the AE86... but i wasn't sure what is the final price comes out to be ..

There is ONE AE86 in the world running an F20C, it's fully custom, noone makes a kit for it. It was built by Hot Staff in Japan.
Someone in Thailand dropped an F20C along with the S2000's digital dash cluster into an old E30 BMW 3-series... The F20C is useless to the mainstream Honda crowd because their cars are all FWD. There are plenty of fun things you could put an F20C into though. I'd like to see one in a 2nd gen RX-7. I've seen a few in Lotus Seven replicas, that's got to be downright scary. |
