red top SR injector/MAF problems

tonight i installed my tuned ECU, STI 550 injectors and z32 maf. before installing an air filter or cleaning up my wiring connections i started it up and it seemed to run great. shut it down, cleaned all the wiring up, threw on a filter then when i started it up it ran like crap, would not idle past 2 thousand rpm and blew black smoke. re did all the wiring and it revs fine now, just doesnt idle hardly, and at idle im not even getting a reading on my AF gauge, super lean if anything. my FPR is not yet installed, possibly the problem?. any ideas or helpful tips would be awesome. thanks alot

There's not really much anyone can do except the guy that tuned that ECU.

If everything's connected properly, the ECU is the problem.

If not, well... yeah. Doublecheck MAF plug/etc.
When you rev it, do you get normal readings on the wideband?

If it revs/runs normally, you might have boost leaks causing it to run extra rich. I'd say, if everything's gravy (meaning it runs well), why not just drive it?

i unintalled the z32 maf today and the car ran fine, re installed the z32 and it ran like garbage, checked it with a meter and it seems fine. i am having trouble getting my aeromotive FPR up to 43.5 psi, stays under 40, i have a brand new walbro but it seems to not be putting out enough fuel.
