Just bought my first 240...

Whats up guys? Just picked up my 240 a couple weeks ago and I absolutely love it. I am on 240sxforum and luxury4play (keegs on both)


A little Info on it.
1993 Nissan 240sx Hatch
SR20DET
HKS exhaust
HKS downpipe
JIC exhaust manifold
Greddy turbo extension
Greddy turbo timer
Greddy boost gauge
Apexi air filter kit
Nismo front strut tower bar
Nismo clutch slaveholder cylinder
Nismo LSD
J-SPEC rear diff. (5 bolt shaft/half shafts)
NGK plug #7's
Pilot headlight controller
Eibach Sportline springs (will be changing to coilovers very soon)
GREddy VSPL intercooler
Greddy hotpipe
HKS SSQ blow off valve.

This is only the beginning!
Putting my rocker arm stoppers in this weekend and a braided clutch line as well.

DO NOT USE ROCKER ARM STOPPERS!!

Other than that, good buy

How much did you procure this example for? Any rust??

5500. Minor surface rust on the bottom side of the hood. Why wouldn't I put my stoppers on?

Consensus these days is not to use them on mostly stock SR's. I had them in my first car in 2003, skipped them for my new car.

Take care of your motor and it won't matter.

No stoppers = thrown/broken rockers at the worst
Stoppers = Holes in Piston(s) which equates to full engine rebuild at minimum

Choose your poison. Just do a quick search and you will see

Its seems some people like them and some people hate them. I personally would rather replace a ras and roacker arm that tried to float than one that did and have to replace valves, heads, etc..
